The Lessons
Every lesson includes:
→ helpful notes for the teacher
→ Lesson Objective to focus instruction
→ Demonstration of Learning (short quiz or response)
→ slideshow deck for a 45 min lesson
→ slideshow notes to guide class discussion
→ two differentiated assignments; one per grade level
The Cognates
All art of thinking lessons in this curriculum fall into one of four categories:
information
literacy
the ability to evaluate and effectively use information; includes aspects of learning that grows perspective, assesses the reliability of information, identifies bias, and improves discernment in the use of data and facts
critical
thinking
the ability to
evaluate and process
information logically and in nuanced ways,
considering evidence
to make informed decisions; involves Metacognition,
